Paul "Gibbo" Gibbons, Founder

Founder of Soccer in the Community 
​2014 and 2016 winner of both regional and national awards from Boys and Girls Club of America for program excellence.
  • Youth coach at West Bromwich Albion's school of excellence and Walsall FC in his native England (1985 - 1992)
  • Regional director/qualified Coerver coach 1985 - 2011
  • Florida director for Rene Meulensteen Academy 2012 - 2014
  • Florida director of Revolution Global Soccer 2012 - 2016
Arriving in the U.S.A. in 1990 Paul has been a clinician for Coerver Coaching at the National Coaches Convention Indianapolis and also at professional English club West Bromwich Albion F.C. He was invited as a guest of Anderlecht A.F.C. (Belgium Champions), Arsenal Ladies and Bristol Ladies.  Paul coached the Tennessee State Champions in Gallatin and was a Tennessee and Georgia ODP coach. Based in Palm City since 2000, FL . Paul worked with West Ham United FC's International Academy, and Rene Meulensteen Academy. His work sends him all over the world including his home in South Florida, England, India, USA, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
