Donations

As a registered 501(C)3 charitable organization we rely on the generosity of donors like you to help ensure our programs are available to children both in South Florida and Botswana.  As a registered charity your gift is tax deductible.  We accept two primary forms of support:

  1. Cash Donations
Your gift makes a difference regardless of size.  Please click here and follow the simple steps to make a gift.

  1. Gifts in Kind
Soccer in the community welcomes your donation of new or gently used soccer items (uniforms, boots, socks, etc.).  We also distribute regular clothing to children who need everyday items over and above soccer.  To arrange a pickup/drop off please contact us at info@soccerinthecommunity.org info@soccerinthecommunity.org
We also accept clothes for all members of the  family.        info@soccerinthecommunity.org
We would like to help the females of the family more this year !
We would like to help the local village schools. By providing books for the younger children. Also we want to give crayons, pencils etc
We would like to get involved in helping each village grow their own trees (from saplings)

Impact
Last year we sent 10 huge boxes over to the village of Khumaga in northern Botswana !
Each week we visit 10 sites here in South Florida, we see 150 - 200 children each week.

We feed them with a healthy snack at EVERY session!!!!
While smiles, laughter and enjoyment are key elements of our impact, we measure beyond the joy the children show and are proud of the following examples of our impact and the power of our program::
  • Last year 200 + children and family members were engaged in soccer sessions in Botswana. (In just one village!)
  • 2021 Estimated number will be nearer 1,000 !
  • Over 500 pounds of clothing and soccer equipment distributed to the village of Khumaga in northern Botswana. (10 big boxes !)
  • 150 - 200 children living in or close to poverty receive 150 - 200  number of healthy snacks during coaching sessions. Each and every week, here in South Florida
  • 150 - 200 number of children per week educated on the importance of environmentalism, conservation and kindness. 200 last year in Africa (over a 2 week period)
  • Approximately 2,000 children participate every year in organized events at 11 sites in south Florida.
  • Approximately 250 children enrolled in summer camps enabling their parents to continue to work and the children to develop skills associated with team sports.
